Symphony X, una de las bandas de metal progresivo de más calidad en el territorio internacional, está trabajando duro en su nuevo trabajo. Recordemos que Paradise Lost, el disco anterior, editado en 2007, fue grandioso, por lo que las expectativas en este nuevo trabajo son altas por mi parte.
El 13 de Noviembre de 2009 fueron contratados por Nuclear Blast, firma de discos alemana, que está especializada en este tipo de grupos, y en el momento de la firma, destaparon la noticia.
We are really excited to be a part of the Nuclear Blast Family, a great label with a cool roster of bands, which we are proud to be a part of. As of now, we are working hard on the new CD and are looking to finish it up late Winter 2009 / Spring 2010. We can’t wait to hit the road and play some of the new cool stuff for everyone and especially all our loyal fans. We look forward to a long relationship with all the great people who work at the label all over the world.
Comentan que piensan tener el nuevo cd a finales de 2009 o primavera del 2010. Y digo yo… ya se están retrasando!
Indagando por su página web, hay nuevas noticias. El 18 de Marzo comentan lo siguente:
Things are moving right along with the new CD! The music is all finished and Jason arrived in New Jersey this week, drums start tracking today. Mike has promised to get photos of the recording sessions so stay tuned for those! — Jax
En resumen, que ya tienen la música compuesta y van a empezar en el estudio… No sé los meses que les puede llevar grabar el disco, pero espero que sean pocos!!!
